Numeric Field¶
A numeric field collects a number. Its required datatype fixes the kind of number, from an
integer of a given width to a decimal or floating-point value. minValue and maxValue
bound the range, decimalPlaces sets how many digits follow the decimal point, and unit
records a unit of measure shown alongside the value, written as a free-text label such as
mg or degree Celsius. In YAML its type is numeric-field.
